Dorsel Stowers
Apr 13, 2018Dorsel was born May 27, 1929, to Frank and Ealy Stowers in Palermo, West Virginia.Dorsel served in the 101st Airborne ("Screaming Eagles") Division of the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict where he was the personal driver to the General. He was stationed in Japan. He spent his career as the co-owner of a lumber business and a real estate investor. During his 36 years of retirement, he loved spending time on his Ohio farm.Dorsel is survived by his wife of 64 years, Corena Stowers; three daughters, Sally (Kyle) Mishne of Cincinnati, Ohio, Margaret Mlot of Hamlin, West Virginia, and Dorothy Stowers of Woodland Hills, California; one grandson, Byron (Penny) Roberts; and two great-grandchildren, Tucker and Aspen Roberts of Wellston, Ohio.
